Getting Snags Out with a Roll Cast

This video is all about getting Snags out (near surface). Snags are simply a part of fishing. Often, if you aren't fishing structure, you aren't fishing and structure means you will eventually get hung up. This video teaches the simple method of making a Roll Cast at the snag - letting the line pass the snag and drop to the water, then ripping up aggressively using the water tension to pull the fly out backwards. This technique works well for shallow snags and will save you time on the water, and potentially keep your fly boxes full for the season.
